The All-Weather (rough weather) series in Small, Medium, Extra Large and Super Large are designed to give an air pocket of up to 3 inches between the 2 flaps in a door installation. Protector All Weather Pet Door is identical to the Regular All-Weather Door (rough weather door described above) PLUS it includes a special alarm. Using the energy efficient All-Weather frame and flap design the Protector series lock-out slide offers an important Exclusive accessory. The patented unit has an on/off switch to activate the audible ALARM to alert you that the interior slide has been even just partially removed. This is important for those who wish to know immediately that there is an attempt to enter or exit the pet door. This feature works when installed in doors or walls.
