Automatic & Electronic Dog Doors
Automatic dog doors offer freedom to both pets and their owners.
Most automatic dog doors use a small, collar-mounted key or collar-mounted magnet that sends a signal to the door when the pet wearing the key approaches. Many are very sophisiticated.
While all of them let the animal wearing the key in or out (or both), some have timers to lock your wandering pets in when you don't want them out. Some keep track of the different animals in a household and can have different programming that affects just some of your pets but not all of them.
Some electronic pet doors have added security to keep out even the most obnoxious pests such as racoons and skunks. All of them offer pets the option of coming and going without distrubing their owners.
