Wire Dog Crates

Although wire dog crates cannot be used for airline travel, they come in many styles and are used for many other purposes: 1.Housebreaking 2.Confining a destructive dog 3.Convalescing dogs 4. Short-term confinement during events etc 

Several factors affect your choice: 
How large is the dog?  Our wire dog crates list the dimensions. Choose one that is at least as tall as your dog is at the top of his shoulders. If he will get larger, choose one that has room for growth.
How destructive is the dog? The wire in the crates has a gauge. The higher the gauge the thinner the wire.  If your dog might try to chew his way out, choose one that has low gauge wire or is marked as heavy-duty.  No manufacturer warrents against dog damage, no matter how sturdy the crate.
How much room do you have in the space where you plan to put it? Some have doors on two or three sides, which makes it esier to find a space where a door has room to open and close. The new Ovation has a rise-up door that takes less room.
