Dog Brushes & Combs
Pet hair is a nuisance. More importantly, dogs with deep, unkempt coats are uncomfortable and even unhealthy.
Seasonal shedding is perfectly normal in most breeds. Dogs have a "double coat" - that is, they have long "guard hairs" that you see, and a layer of thick, downy fuzz next to their skin under the guard hairs called "undercoat". The undercoat is used for insulation and grows deep and dense in the Winter only to be shed out and discarded in Spring and Summer.
Regular brushing will elinimate tangles, pull the undercoat, give the skin a chance to breathe, and help to move the skin oils down each shaft of hair to protect it from dryness and breaking. Read more about shedding HERE
